About Sitecheck

I built Sitecheck because I've always wanted a simple, practical tool to help understand and improve website performance, accessibility and SEO.

Why I made this

With the rise of AI and "vibe coding", I wanted to challenge myself and explore what it takes to build a full-stack website analysis tool from scratch. I also wanted a place to collect learnings and experiment with integrations like Google PageSpeed, accessibility tooling, and automated scanning.

What this project is

Sitecheck is an experimental but practical personal project. I use it to test ideas, try integrations, and learn by building. If you find it useful or inspiring, I'd love to hear feedback or see contributions.

A note on scope & intent

I also felt a tool that combines performance, accessibility and SEO analysis was missing, or that existing services were often too expensive for small projects and one-off checks. Sitecheck started from that gap — it's a personal project with a practical focus. Depending on traction and the feedback I receive, I may continue iterating on this and grow it into a full-fledged service.
